You never expect the love you read in stories to happen in real life. You cannot possibly imagine finding the person who was always meant to be in your life to just appear one day, when you're not searching for them. Love is something I always read about in books (I've read a lot of them), but I never thought I would find it.

Our story is simple, our friends were dating and Annaliesse met David for lunch one day. She came to me immediately after and asked me if I would be open to a double date because once she met David, she knew that we would be perfect for each other. I said yes, not imagining it would go as well as it did. I never thought I would meet my future husband two short weeks later.

From the first time we talked to each other, it felt surreal. I felt as if I have known him my entire life, but we never ran out of things to talk about. On September 16, 2023, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. After that day, we spent so much time making amazing memories together. We celebrated birthdays and holidays, we shared each other's interests, and we traveled to California together.

We knew from the beginning that we shared very similar life goals and that a relationship leading to marriage is where we both wanted to be. On July 3, 2024 he asked me to be his wife and it was the easiest decision that I have ever made.

We are each other's home and safe place. He is my favorite person to spend time with and my best friend. I cannot wait until January 5, 2025 when we get to be husband and wife and continue creating the best memories together.
